By accessing or using the UPLAI service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

UPLAI provides a privacy protection layer that intercepts, redacts, and anonymizes personally identifiable information (PII) before your prompts reach AI models. The Service operates as middleware between users and AI services.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent or disable the Service's privacy protections
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use the Service to transmit malware or harmful code
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Service Availability

We strive to provide continuous service availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by UPLAI and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UPLAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold UPLAI harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international data protection laws, including GDPR, India's DPDP Act, and relevant US state privacy laws.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
